The Emmy-winning helmer has been tapped to direct a sequel to 2017 crime drama \u201cWind River,\u201d the story of a hunter and FBI agent who group as much as examine the homicide of a teenage lady on an extremely distant Native American reservation in Wyoming. A press launch introduced the information.<\/p>\n<p>Titled \u201cWind River: The Subsequent Chapter,\u201d the brand new movie sees \u201cterror [escalating] on the Wind River reservation as a sequence of ritualistic murders stay unsolved. The FBI enlists Chip Hanson, a newly minted tracker for the U.S. Fish &amp; Sport, who turns into embroiled in a determined and harmful combat between the authorities, a vigilante, and the Reservation he calls residence,\u201d the movie\u2019s synopsis teases.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Sensmeier performed Chip in \u201cWind River\u201d and is reprising his position for the sequel, his supporting character now the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Skogland obtained an Emmy nod for her directing on \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Story.\u201d \u2018The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,\u201d \u201cThe Strolling Lifeless,\u201d and \u201cThe Individuals\u201d are amongst her different credit.
