Who Is Chelsea Lazkani? ‘Selling Sunset’ Adds a New Agent to Season 5

There is a new agent in town. Season five of Sunsets for Sale is already gearing up to be “electric,” thanks to newcomer Chelsea Lazkani, who is joining the Oppenheim Group. “I will say it’s really electric,” the real estate agent told PeopleAbout the upcoming season on Netflix’s real estate reality series. “It’s nothing you’ve ever seen before on TV.” 

Lazkani shared the good news to her Instagram with the teaser image of the full cast—sans the Oppenheim brothers—wearing all pink to usher in a new season. Fellow Selling SunsetAgents Emma Herman, Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause and others showed support for their new coworker by leaving comments that included encouragement words and heart emojis.

“I feel like with great opportunities comes great responsibility,” she shared with People. “This was kind of my time to give back and to educate and really mentor and push forward Black women in this luxury sector in real estate. So just knowing that I’ve got a greater purpose kind of prepared me for this.”

But who exactly is the Oppenheim new agent? Here’s all we know about Chelsea Lazkani.

She wasn’t always in real estate.Chelsea Lazkani was a business strategist and a solar analyst for companies in the oil and gas sector prior to 2017. After leaving this line of work, she got her realty license and began working for Rodeo Realty Inc. in Los Angeles as a realty agent. According to her LinkedIn page she worked there since 2017, before moving into her Oppenheim Group job.

She’s British!Lazkani, a graduate of both the University of Birmingham in England as well as the University of Dundee (Scotland), has taken real estate seriously since her recent career shift. She even has her own Zillow page where you will find her biography
