This included writing to Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of US House of Representatives, and Chuck Shumer, the Majority Leader in the US Senate, and cold-calling senators to request their support.
She was previously active in encouraging people vote in 2020 elections as part of a campaign by Michelle Obama.
