As a retired affiliate professor of the visible arts, I applaud this essay. As a result of the visible arts are usually thought-about as lesser than programs in math, science and writing, visible literacy is ignored by society and in schooling curriculums nationwide.

Dr. Abramoff’s voice, actions and message could rankle the stoic scientists and employers, however there is no such thing as a message of higher import. Do or die!
The science is evident that local weather change is actual and would be the undoing of humankind if we don’t act with pace, resolve and unity. Whereas the bodily planet will survive and life of varied sorts will adapt and ultimately thrive, the local weather will grow to be inhospitable for people, maybe even for our grandchildren who’re alive as we speak.
