‘Love Is Blind’ Season 3 Is Happening—Here’s Everything We Know

While there’s still a bit of internal weeping when we think of all the great original shows that never got a season two or series finale, that won’t be the case with its popular reality dating show Love is blind. After a successful season of drama that was binge-worthy, the streaming service confirmed in 2020 that it would be releasing seasons two and three. The second season aired this month, and it just wrapped its final episode on February 25. So here’s hoping that season three will be less of a wait this time. To be clear, it is still definitely happening—it’s been cast and even finished filming.

When does Love is blind season 3 premiere?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a confirmed premiere date. However, it is possible to release the show in 2023 or later (2022 if you’re lucky), given that COVID restrictions have become less strict due to higher vaccine rates. While this is speculation, it is possible that a late-2022 premiere of the show could be possible. Vanessa Lachey, co-hosting the show with Nick Lachey, stated in an interview. Hollywood LifeThey started filming season two and three simultaneously. 

E News! interviewed her again. In an interview with E News!, she said that Netflix had already finished filming both seasons. “So we shot season two, that’s gonna come out February 2022, and I don’t know—am I allowed to say? We shot season three already,” she said.

What can we expect from season 3 of the TV series? 

The show’s premise will remain the same: Couples will meet in pods and will not see each other. There will be the possibility of marriage at the end. And you’ll still probably be on edge wondering who will end up with whom. 

However, there may be some surprises. Chris Coelen, the show’s creator, said this in an interview. Metro U.K., “Every season is totally unique. Season three is a very different being than either season one or season two.” Coelen adds that even he is surprised by the endings. “A lot of times, I think I know what’s going to happen and I certainly have a feeling, but I will tell you that there have been quite a few times where I’ve been completely wrong,” he shared. 

Who is the cast? Love is blindSeason 3?

Although there has not yet been an official casting announcement, there is a lot of online push for it. Love is blind to increase its diversity with its contestants—not just in regard to cultural backgrounds but body size as well. The cast is determined by where they live. Season one was shot in Atlanta, while season 2 was shot in Chicago. There is no information yet about where season three was shot.
