Happy Birthday, Lizzo!
Born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, the 34-year-old singer celebrated her birthday on April 27 with boyfriend Myke Wright at popular Los Angeles restaurant Craig’s. And just in case anyone needed a reminder that she is 100% “that btch,” she showed up in a pair of large black shades that featured the words written across the lenses.
The accessory was not the only thing that attracted attention for the singer on her special day. Lizzo also wore a sheer, black dress from 16ARLINGTON. It features an asymmetrical, flower-crystal embellishments and gathers of feathers at its bottom. The entire look is a modern twist on the classic little black dress. It’s very, very good.
The About Damn TimeThe singer also matched her purple dress with her shoes using rhinestones. The metallic mules are by Mach & Mach and add a touch of sparkle thanks to a crystal double bow on the front.
Lizzo’s smile could probably be seen a mile away as she held hands with her boyfriend while walking past the paparazzi. The location and a touch of nostalgia could have been a factor too—Craig’s seems to be a favorite restaurant of Lizzo considering she’s been seen there before with Wright before the pair confirmed their relationship. The Be on the lookout for the Big Grrls creator just confirmed in an interview with Andy Cohen this month that she and her “mystery man” are officially a couple.
