In the midst of an extremely public relationship with Julia Fox, Kanye West is still expressing his true feelings about his ex Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson—and it doesn’t seem favorable, to say the least.
In a new interview, the Hollywood Unlocked podcast, West told host Jason Lee that he believes Kardashian has been trying to “antagonize” him since their split (she filed for divorce last year). West claimed that a kiss she shared in a sketch with Pete Davidson was the result of a kiss. Saturday Night LiveBecause he was not there, Kardashian hosted October 2021. In the sketch West refers to, she plays Jasmine from Disney. AladdinDavidson was Aladdin.

The podcast was released Monday, January 24th. West stated that per Us Weekly, “How you gonna bring me to SNL and then kiss the dude you dating right in front of me?” There is no evidence that Kardashian and Davidson were dating at the time. In the weeks that followed her hosting, the couple was seen together. SNLThey didn’t announce their relationship until November 2021.
In a song released January 14, West took aim at Davidson and Kardashian. “God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” West raps in “Eazy.” He also throws shade at Kardashian’s parenting skills: “I got love for the nannies, but real family is better. The cameras keep an eye on the kids. You should all stop giving credit. I am a noncustodial father and bought the house next to my kids. What you think the point of really bein’ rich for.”
Kanye West went further on his separation with Kim Kardashian, pointing out that his 2020 run to be president had an impact on their relationship. “There’s a lot of people around Kim that can influence her,” he said in the interview. “As she’s making certain decisions, she’s just looking for safety and a safe place to be. Women only want safety and comfort. Ultimately, [what she would] like is her husband but for her husband to play the role of what Hollywood’s playing already.”
