But back to those abs… Kate previously told Women’s Health that she feels like she’s an all-around healthy person these days. “What I love most about where I’m at today in terms of my fitness is that I not only feel the healthiest I’ve been in my body, but I also feel the healthiest I’ve been in my mind and my heart,” she said. It all connects, truth be told.

Kate stated that she used to love running and lifting weights, but now she focuses on pulsing and low-impact exercises several times per week that focus on lifting, sculpting and tightening her muscle.

Kate’s also big into exercises that tone her booty and she specifically works on those with her trainer. “I believe the glutes can be the most difficult muscle to target,” she stated. “You need to be very consistent with it.”

Kate is a trainer with Stephanie Watson, a nutrition coach, and CPT. She met Watson through a TV program called “The Apprentice.” The I-Land. “She’s also very focused on low-impact exercise and the mind-body connection,” Kate said. “Her entire mission is low-impact exercise and I learned everything about it from her.”

Walking is an important part of cardio for Kate. Yep, walking. “You just have to get out and move,” Kate said. Kate also finds it relaxing to go for walks. “When I walk, I don’t bring my phone, I pay attention to my surroundings,” Kate said. “I have a connection to breathing and what’s happening in nature. I think now more than ever people need that.”
